Account Managers are primarily responsible for managing existing accounts, delivering a positive overall client experience and supporting account growth and new business development.

We are looking for an Account Manager based in Frankfurt to assist with pre-sales and existing client accounts activities related to the S&P Capital IQ UK clients.

You will:
§

Maintaining strong relationships with client organizations, addressing their needs, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

§

Developing an exceptional understanding of, and staying current on, the S&P CIQ products and functionality and their application to specific clients.

§

Demonstrating exceptional skills in listening to clients, articulating ideas and complex information in a clear and structured manner.

§

Conducting product training for clients.

§

Demonstrating a strong understanding of financial concepts and principles such as financial statement analysis, business valuation, cash flow, company reporting and stock selection.

§

Managing internal and external tracking and reporting and analysing client usage trends.

§

Addressing product related questions from clients by seeking solutions across appropriate internal groups.

§

Incorporating personal and client feedback into product designs for future releases.

§

Staying current on competitor offerings to identify the strengths and vulnerabilities of CIQ offerings in comparison.

§

Partnering with Sales Directors and Account Development Executives to support and service multiple accounts.

§

Collaborating effectively across teams as well as creating an atmosphere of trust and open communication.

§

Mentoring Client Development Analysts by providing instruction and positive modelling

Qualifications

Required:
·

Undergraduate degree required – Finance, business or economics preferred

·

Previous, directly comparable Financial markets sales experience required (equity or fixed income preferred)

·

Knowledge of client management tools (CRMs), Excel, WebEx advantageous

·

Fluent English and German language skill required
