AppNexus is looking for amazing (Senior) Account Managers to join our fast growing Team in Hamburg. The role is unique in the sense that it involves relationship management, sales, account management, and strategic consulting with key players in the digital advertising ecosystem. The (Senior) AM is responsible for directly managing the business objectives and overall relationships with our clients. We are seeking candidates who are proactive, results oriented, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment being committed to growing client relationships and making our partners successful. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable and effective in highly strategic and deeply operational or tactical conversations.
Specific responsibilities include:
Meet/exceed quarterly revenue goals
Develop, manage and maintain client business partnerships with senior-level contacts at client organizations
Understand dynamic business models, strategically implement AppNexus’ technology solutions and work closely with teams internally acting as the client advocate.
Serve as a liaison with clients regarding new product launches, business opportunities and client service issues
Manage work-streams and projects in support of client initiatives
Develop regular client presentations as well as account plans and effectively manage against defined KPIs
International travel, mainly in Europe
Entrepreneurial and focussed mindset
3-5 years of sales or account management experience in the digital advertising industry (ideally technology solutions)
Deep understanding of online ad technology stack and operational processes
Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue expectations and performance objectives managing client relationships at senior level
An innately collaborative personality demonstrating mastery of cross-functional teamwork
Superior presentation and written communication skills
Very good English skills
BA/BS degree required, MBA a plus
