Reporting to the Secure Issuance Sales Director and working in close cooperation with the local IAM Sales Team, this position will provide a dedicated resource to implement a comprehensive market development program to promote the benefits ofFargoin the region. The Secure Issuance Area Sales Manager will develop specific programs for and with the IAM local team to driveFargosales in the region in the Physical Access Control markets but also outside of these markets in key segments like government, retail, banking, education, hospitality, events or transport.

Your Job:
Analyse the market and put in place the sales targets by product family and reseller channel

Achieve sales targets forFargoprinter solutions and supply through designated accounts

Identify, recommend and facilitate the appointment of new channel partners

Identify and track large governmental and commercial project opportunities

Direct involvement with the end user in large projects to promote HID Global/Fargo solutions

Identify and recommend sales opportunities in new and existing markets and increase market share in established markets

Provide support to assigned accounts and strategic alliances by providing sales training, pre sales support, and demonstration of equipment and participation in joint end user visits

Provide support to assigned accounts and distributors by preparing, managing and executing VAR development plans using sufficient resource available at the time

Develop joint marketing strategies with the resellers that enable them to meet their objectives

Provide a focal point for the relationships with assigned strategic alliance partners to include the successful introduction of new products, including pricing programs and the co-ordination of key events hosted by business partners in which HID Global/Fargo solutions will display, present or support the event

Provide competitive pricing information, competitive situations and customer attitudes for current and future requirements to the Sales Manager and other interested parties

Review continually the sales results at all levels of the reseller channels you are responsible for, put in place action programs to make good any shortfall against forecasts, for these accounts

Provide sales reports and statistics

Serving as an internal advocate for territory partners

Recommending program improvements and process efficiencies

Reporting on partner sales performance and trends

Championing partner initiatives

Your qualifications:
University Graduate or Business School Graduate, with a proven experience in channel management and business development

Excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as a natural team spirit

Strong out of the box thinking combined with a hands-on attitude, the ability to manage multiple projects successfully and prioritise well

Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills with the ability to adhere to deadlines


Ability to effectively communicate in the German and English languages verbally and in writing. The ability to communicate in other languages is a plus

Ability to write and give presentations that conform to the prescribed business style and format

Ability to travel up to 50 % of the working time
