This position provides channel management focus for an assigned channel portfolio. Build and develop relationships with channel reps to drive growth, identify, recruit, enable channels to sell and evaluate to enhance channel effectiveness. This position provides day-to-day transactional support and is the focal point to the channel.

Report to: Regional sales leader, Frank Hirschmann and dotted line to Channel Director in Region, Patrik Rooman
Location: Flexible within Germany

Essential Responsibilities
Financial
• Own, deliver financial performance for channel portfolio
• Create channel specific business plans, set G&Os

Effectiveness
• Identify potential channels, recruit, qualify and facilitate thru appointment process including gaining necessary approvals/P&L support
• On-board channels per checklist and coordinate with respective P&Ls
• Train distributor reps & coordinate with P&L product certification programs
• Apply methodology to evaluate channel effectiveness
• Share leads, manage opportunities and pipeline
• Embrace and implement channel management best practices

Compliance
• Create a culture of highest integrity and compliance within channels.
• Enforce global compliance standards, collaborate with compliance manager to perform due diligence activities

Leadership
• Develop and manage relationships with channels and sales team (end user)
• Manage relationships on day-to-day basis and provide transactional support
• Introduce M&C programs and commitments
• Schedule joint sales calls with channels & respective GE commercial teams

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor degree or above
• At least 3 - 5 years experience in industry related sales or marketing
• Successful experience in multi-stakeholder environment
• High ethics and integrity
• Fluent English and German speaking

Desired Characteristics
• Expertise in M&C product lines a plus
• Experience in managing sales channels of multiple products in flow business in Energy/Industrial segments
• Direct and/ or indirect leadership experience
• Ability to analyze business models
