We are currently looking for bright, enthusiastic and reliable candidates to work with our Business Development team in Berlin as a:

“Junior Associate Business Development” (full-time)

If you are interested in working with us you should have acquired a university degree in business (or similar), prior professional experience in sales and/or client relationship management, be willing to travel, be versatile and innovative in your approach and be fluent in English (preferably at a native speaker level).

Your future tasks include:

  • You will be part of our “Business Development Team” and will support your team colleagues, for example by identifying potential new business partners and/or assisting in the development of new fields of business;
  • Contacting key personnel in consulting and/or professional services firms;
  • Presenting our products and services to partners and customers;
  • Preparing business proposals and client contracts;
  • Gathering data for our research studies, helping analyse data and preparing presentations;
  • Attending client negotiations and meetings;
  • Coordinating multiple projects in parallel as well as interfacing with clients, partners, and internal departments.

Your perspective:

After you have shown success in the above mentioned tasks you will be promoted to a more senior level (usually after one year). In this position you will be responsible for development and service of your own base of customers and/or partners. You will be supported by your colleagues to develop your own client base and to achieve the firm’s long-term goals.

Prerequisites for this job include:

  • You are self-motivated, can maintain project plans and hold deadlines;
  • A university degree in business (or similar);
  • Previous experience in sales and/or client relationship management is desired;
  • Strong communication skills (including good argumentative skills);
  • Solid economic knowledge and sound analytical capabilities;
  • Enthusiasm, reliability, a team player;
  • The ability to work in a high pressure environment and adhere to deadlines;
  • An excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken;
  • Proficiency in a second language is valuable (e.g. Spanish, Polish, etc.; preferably at a native speaker level);
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; PowerPoint and Excel are essential.
