Food Transparency

While we understand that everyone is free to make their own food choices, we take steps to help educate our customers on options they can take to support sustainable food sources through our platform.

Highlighting Sustainable Food: We work with restaurants to highlight menu items that contain ethically or locally sourced ingredients.

Providing Detailed Dish Information: We’re in the process of rolling out a menu feature that will specify the ingredients of each dish, which will allow customers to have a thorough understanding of the meal they are ordering and to feel assured if they happen to have any allergies or other dietary restrictions.

Environmentally friendly packaging

We are currently working with industry leaders to get a better understanding on methods of recyclable (including take out bags, take out containers, and cutlery) and how we can possibly implement them in our services.

We will work closely with thousands of partner restaurants to get a clear understanding of the challenges they face in packaging and how we can tackle these issues together.

Our goal is to be able to provide environmentally friendly packaging to all partners at a reasonable cost before the end of 2018.

Less waste

In April 2018, we announced that we will be giving customers the option to 'Opt-In' and 'Opt-Out' of cutlery for our top 20 restaurants in a mission to reduce the usage of plastic cutlery by ~30% in 2018. Our goal is to roll this out across all restaurants by the end of 2018.
