Faithful to its 'Have you tried?' motto inherited from the founder of the company, Hyundai Motor isn't for you if you're looking for the optimal work-life balance. I've seen many people come and go, some will give up after a year, some after two years, and not too many people stick around what is truly a relentless but rewarding professional experience. Working hours are somehow flexible, the salary is on par with the market place, but the tough environment is such that many people quickly feel under-valued for the efforts they put it. The opportunities for growth are somehow seldom but you can always work you way up, provided you give it your best shot, which only a few do (personal observation).
The people are nice, as in most companies, but there is a gap in communication between the locals and the coordinator channel.
Knowing about the Korean culture and language is definitely a plus.
Multi-cultural, Perks/Package on par with the market
Slow decision making despite fast-paced working culture, few opportunities for growth
