The big wigs and higher up will lie to your face and if your not a favorite you will go nowhere but get worked to death and thrown away. Human resources is a joke throughout all of klockner pentaplast. Good last resort job but not a good career choice.
Worst management I’ve ever worked under,no understanding of production and yield control ,no moral due to the presssures management put on staff in production ,every Friday operators would receive e mail threatening jobs if quality and quantity did not improve while no senior managers was on site as they never worked weekends
No support from management or HR. They Evan have joined office so you do not feel safe talking to HR. They retaliate against you if you go to them with a problem. Like demote you.
4 on and 4 off schedule.
Swing shift and to much overtime.
I started at $10 an hour through a temp service less than a year ago got hired on soon after my 500 hours were up so started at base pay and shortly after moved up to operater and after a couple more raises and my $1 an hour shift differential I'm over 17 an hour so I really can't complain ....be there on time, do your job safely and learn while doing it and you will make a good career
Great company, nice people Awesome benefits and pay. My Bosses were the best I have ever worked for, they try and get you to learn as much as you can where you can so you can make more money. They have a kitchen in there that serve Hot breakfast and lunch. That was a big plus. You get an 40 mins for lunch, that's paid and 2 30 min break's witch was Awesome. Great place.
It is a good place. You have to consider that most of the jobs are manufacturing jobs and the main floor operates as a 24/7 operation. For office personnel depending on your department you can remote if you can't make it to work due to sickness or some other emergency.
A typical day at work consists of you gearing up and getting information from the previous shift. You'll work a 12 hour shift packing and storing items to be sent out all over. I have learned so many skills it is too much to type them all, but the most important would be how to do a fast paced job, and do it safely. The hardest part of the job is rotating monthly between day and night shift. The most enjoyable part of the job is working with the amazing team and finding ways to enjoy your job.
Top management of the company has been changed too often in the past few years making the future unstable. Lower levels of local manufacturing jobs are more secure and long term.
good salary, good commited people at lower levels
instability at mid management level, unclear direction, silo mentality
A lot of good people with terrible management. The pay scale is really out of control no base scale. really need to reaxamine the management team who insists but will not assist.
little to no breaks
