What do we rely on at ENCAVIS? The sun. The wind. And on you.

Welcome to Encavis! Our world is all about the power of the sun, the wind and the more than 400 people across our group who are working together to shape the energy system of the future in order to ensure a sustainable energy supply for future generations.

ENCAVIS Management GmbH & Co. KG is the holding company of ENCAVIS GmbH, one of Europe's leading electricity producers from renewable energies. We operate a broadly diversified portfolio of over 330 onshore wind farms, ground-mounted solar plants and battery storage facilities in 13 European countries with an installed capacity of more than 3.8 GW. And best of all, we are continuing to grow! Our subsidiaries, Stern Energy SpA, which operates throughout Europe as a specialist in technical services for photovoltaic systems, and Encavis Portfolio Management GmbH, which specialises in supporting institutional investors, complement our portfolio.

What does this mean for you? The opportunity to make a difference, to shape and change things. As part of a multinational team that enjoys helping to make the energy transition a success.

Support a safe and sustainable working environment
As an H&S Specialist, you contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of Encavis’ health and safety management systems across our renewable energy portfolio. You work closely with operational teams and external partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. By combining hands-on operational support with analytical reporting and improvement initiatives, you play a key role in creating a safe, compliant and sustainable working environment across our European assets.

Your sunny outlook:

  • H&S Performance Monitoring & Reporting: You monitor and analyse H&S performance indicators such as incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, and prepare clear reports for internal stakeholders and management.
  • Risk Assessment & Documentation: You create and continuously update general and specific risk assessments in line with local legislation and ensure proper implementation across sites.
  • Audits & Inspections: You conduct H&S inspections and audits at company facilities and assets and ensure timely follow-up of corrective actions.
  • Operational Support & Advisory: You support Asset Management and operational teams with practical H&S guidance and ensure alignment with Encavis standards.
  • Incident Analysis & Prevention: You contribute to root cause analyses (e.g. 5-Why methodology) and help define preventive measures to improve safety performance.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: You coordinate H&S activities with internal and external stakeholders and support regular safety meetings and initiatives.
  • KPI Management & Dashboards: You maintain H&S KPIs and dashboards and ensure transparent and reliable reporting across the organisation.
  • Chemical Safety & PPE Management: You manage chemical safety topics, including MSDS updates, and coordinate PPE selection, distribution and compliance.
  • Environmental Data & Reporting: You support the collection and reporting of environmental data such as waste, energy, water and emissions in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: You identify improvement opportunities and promote preventive actions to continuously enhance H&S performance across the portfolio.

We'll get wind of that soon:

  • Academic Background & Qualification: You hold a degree or technical qualification in Health & Safety, engineering or a comparable discipline.
  • Professional Experience: You bring at least two years of practical experience in occupational health and safety and ideally hold a recognised certification as Safety Specialist (DGUV or equivalent).
  • Regulatory Expertise: You have strong knowledge of German occupational health and safety regulations (e.g. ArbSchG, ASiG, DGUV, Betriebssicherheitsverordnung, Hazardous Substances Ordinance) and ideally ISO 45001.
  • Analytical & Structured Mindset: You are able to assess risks, structure complex topics and derive practical and effective solutions.
  • Communication & Collaboration: You have strong interpersonal skills and work effectively with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders across different countries and cultures.
  • Tools & Systems: You are confident in working with Microsoft Office 365 and familiar with H&S reporting tools and systems.
  • Ownership & Proactivity: You work in a proactive, responsible and solution-oriented manner and take ownership of your tasks.
