About the Company

We are an international education and educational travel organisation offering language immersion programmes for children, teenagers and adults.

Our programmes combine language learning, international travel, cultural exchange and direct interaction with English-speaking participants. The company operates across several markets and is currently expanding its B2C sales activity in Europe and selected international markets.

About the Role

We are looking for a practical, hands-on Head of International Sales & Market Operations to improve sales performance across multiple country markets.

This role combines sales management, CRM discipline, pipeline analysis, reporting, team coaching and market execution. It is not a purely strategic or advisory position. The successful candidate will be expected to work directly with market managers, review data, inspect sales pipelines, identify bottlenecks and help local teams improve conversion.

You will work closely with company leadership and local sales teams to create a more consistent international sales operating system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage B2C sales performance across multiple international markets.
  • Work with local market managers and sales teams to improve execution.
  • Monitor revenue, leads, conversion rates, pipeline quality, speed to lead and follow-up discipline.
  • Improve CRM usage, reporting standards, dashboards and KPI tracking.
  • Identify weak points in the sales funnel and implement corrective actions.
  • Review sales calls, scripts, objection handling and closing quality.
  • Coach local managers and salespeople.
  • Support new market launches and early-stage sales operations.
  • Work with marketing teams to assess lead quality by source, campaign and market.
  • Transfer successful sales practices between countries.
  • Use data, CRM insights and practical sales observations to improve performance.

Requirements

  • Experience managing B2C sales teams.
  • Strong experience with phone-based, CRM-driven or consultation-based sales.
  • Experience managing sales performance through KPIs, CRM data and pipeline reviews.
  • Fluent English.
  • Experience working with international markets, distributed teams or remote teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to improve conversion across a sales funnel.
  • Practical, hands-on approach to sales management.
  • Confidence reviewing calls, scripts, follow-ups and deal stages.
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience using AI, automation or reporting tools in sales management is an advantage.

Relevant Background

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be useful: educational travel, language travel, study abroad, international education, edtech, language schools, youth programmes, summer programmes, high-ticket B2C sales, inside sales or international student recruitment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Zoho or similar CRM systems.
  • Experience launching a new market or improving an underperforming sales market.
  • Experience managing multilingual sales teams.
  • Additional languages besides English.
  • Experience selling to parents, students, young adults or adult learners.
