About the role

We're looking for someone who brings hands-on experience in ESG, Disclosure Management and XBRL - and a genuine interest in helping customers navigate both financial and sustainability reporting requirements with confidence.

This role combines three areas: You will help customers turn complex ESG data into clear, compliant reports using the Lucanet ESG Reporting Solution, drive Disclosure Management implementations throughout the year, and support customers during peak XBRL reporting periods. You'll work as part of a small, focused team within a larger Professional Services group – collaborating closely with colleagues in Product, Sales, and Support.

What you'll do

ESG

• Coach customers and partners through the Lucanet ESG Reporting Solution – practical, hands-on, outcome-focused.
• Deliver onboarding trainings for new customers, partners, and colleagues.
• Support customers post-go-live with structured guidance.
• Be the go-to contact for software questions around ESG data collection, ESRS disclosures, and report configuration.
• Stay current on CSRD/ESRS developments and make them actionable for customers.

Disclosure Management

• Implement our Disclosure Management solution and help customers design efficient reporting processes.
• Build reports and support customers throughout their reporting cycles.
• Share best practices and contribute to internal knowledge development.

XBRL

• Advise customers on XBRL, including ESEF, KVK, and UK reporting requirements.
• Implement Tagger and Auditor and run customer training sessions.
• Support customers during peak XBRL reporting periods.

Across all areas

• Translate customer insights into feedback for Product, Sales, and Support – your field perspective shapes how we build.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Professional Services to deliver smooth, high-quality multi-solution projects.
• Support new colleagues during onboarding as a buddy.
• Use AI tools in your daily work and help customers adopt AI-powered features in a responsible way.

What you bring to the table

• University degree, preferably in finance, accounting, sustainability, or a related field – or equivalent practical experience.
• Practical experience with XBRL (ESEF, KVK, or UK reporting).
• 3–5 years in a customer-facing or reporting-focused role – consulting, SaaS implementation, training, or in-house finance/ESG.
• Working knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks (ESRS/CSRD, GHG Protocol) – you don't need to be an expert yet, but the topic genuinely interests you.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• A structured, customer-focused way of working with comfort managing several projects at once.
• Tech-savvy: you pick up new software quickly and explain it clearly.
• Strong German (C1+) – most projects are in German; solid English for international and internal communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS platforms or data-driven reporting tools.
• Hands-on use of AI tools (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) in a professional context.
• A third language: Spanish, French, Dutch, or similar.
