As Senior Director Head of Communications for Edge Systems, you are a key member of the Corporate Brand and Marketing Communications leadership team and act as the central interface to the Edge Systems division. You develop and implement communication strategies aligned with business priorities to drive measurable business outcomes. Working closely with the division and communication teams, you plan, prioritize, and execute 360° communication campaigns, define clear targets, and evaluate their impact.

  Develop and implement the global communications strategy for Infineon’s Edge Systems division, including long-term strategic topic planning to support the implementation of the division strategy and the overarching communications strategy
• Act as the CP key interface to divisional leadership, advising on strategic communication and positioning, and driving executive positioning through a clear communications plan for top management
• Brief, prepare, and accompany divisional leadership on external communication occasions and milestones such as events and media
• Embed the divisional communication strategy in the overarching corporate communication strategy to ensure the best outcome for Infineon overall
• Plan and prioritize focus-topic campaigns, incorporating external perspectives, staying ahead of communications trends and formats, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality content in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and experts across CP and the division
• Drive seamless collaboration to maximize synergies by leveraging shared resources, and establish clear measurement processes with defined targets based on the overall KPI framework and reporting tools
• Ensure consistent use of standardized content, tools, and processes across focus topics, enabling efficient collaboration, KPI alignment, and joint editorial planning
• Oversee continuous planning and controlling of budget, resources, and team capabilities to ensure effective and efficient use of resources and the achievement of business objectives

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
  
• At least 10+ years of experience in communications within corporate organizations or agencies; a background in journalism is a plus, providing a strong foundation in technical and business principles
• Good understanding of the semiconductor or high-tech industry and its business environment, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures
• Proven expertise in strategic communications, including conceptual work, project management, media relations, storytelling, marketing campaigns, and social media; crisis and corporate communications experience is a plus
• Leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams, ideally in matrix organizations, with a strong ability to drive team success and collaboration
• Experience advising executive management, providing strategic guidance and support to senior leaders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop effective solutions to complex communications challenges
• Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
