Position Summary

This position is responsible for developing and implementing procedures regarding expats, including obtaining visas, benefits administration, and ensuring a smooth transition to their new country of employment. Please note that this is a temporary position with a maximum duration of two years.

• Head of HR of SEKISUI EUROPE B.V. (“SEBV”)

Essential Job Duties

• Executes expat assignment procedures in coordination with SEKISUI Business Associates ("SBA"), including work and residence permit applications, 30% ruling applications, onboarding and offboarding processes, benefits administration, accommodation arrangements, payroll and tax-related support, and other required administrative procedures etc.
• Supports and facilitates the smooth integration of expatriates and their families to ensure a comfortable living and working environment and promote their well-being, including assistance with local authority registrations, insurance arrangements, and Düsseldorf Japanese Club membership registration etc.
• Manages employee benefits administration such as company cars and apartments, support contract administration processes, and act as the key contact person for external vendors and service providers.
• Provides support to expats when and as required
• Completes the iSmile registration process for new hires in the European companies
• Completes the SAP Success Factors registration process for employees at SEBV and SEKISUI Chemical GmbH (“GmbH”)
• Supports handling the Onboarding and Offboarding process for the SEBV employees
• Maintains the e-personnel files for the SEBV employees and expats
• Handles the vacation tracking for the SEBV employees and expats
• Provides administrative support to HR of SEBV

Minimum Job Requirements

• At least two years demonstrated experience in HR
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Self-starter, independent and pro-active worker with the ability to successfully work on different projects at the same time
• Ability to adapt and respond to changing work priorities effectively, maintaining composure and responding positively to change
• Effective communication skills in English and German, including verbal and written. Proficiency in Japanese would be considered an advantage

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 12-24 months
