Introduction to the job

Work with a major participant in the semiconductor industry and directly support ASML's equipment by applying your technological experience. You will make sure that our state-of-the-art systems operate at our clients' premises at peak efficiency as a field service engineer. Role and responsibilities

In order to guarantee consistent uptime and efficiency, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and troubleshooting ASML's cutting-edge equipment in this position. You will be working with a team that is dedicated to maintaining a wide range of our systems in our Customer Support (CS) division. You will accomplish this by working on-site with one of our top partners for digital and nanoelectronics research and innovation. As a Field Service Engineer you will:

  • Compile crucial information, evaluate challenging circumstances, and put innovative solutions into action under the direction of a knowledgeable and helpful team.

  • Guarantee equipment dependability and uptime, carry out both preventative maintenance and corrective measures.

  • Organize and safeguard resources to guarantee that all equipment and supplies are available when needed.

  • To assure efficacy and promote a continuous improvement culture, record and report technical actions.

  • To improve your abilities and expertise, adhere to a customized program and work with different colleagues.


Education and experience

  • Bachelor degree or State-certified technical engineer in an Engineering field (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics) or work experience.

  • Preferred is 2-5 years of relevant work experience

  • Experience with technical customer support

  • Strong hands-on and troubleshooting skills

Deine Aufgaben

Um eine konstante Verfügbarkeit und Effizienz zu gewährleisten, bist du in dieser Position für die Diagnose, Reparatur und Fehlerbehebung hochmoderner ASML-Systeme verantwortlich. Du arbeitest in unserem Kundensupport (Customer Support) eng mit einem Team zusammen, das für die Wartung einer Vielzahl unserer Anlagen zuständig ist.

Dies erfolgt in enger Zusammenarbeit mit einem unserer Partner im Bereich Forschung und Innovation für Digital- und Nanoelektronik. In einem Team, das Zusammenarbeit lebt und verschiedene Fachdisziplinen vereint, kannst du erstklassigen Support leisten und technische Probleme effizient lösen.


Als Field Service Engineer übernimmst du unter anderem folgende Aufgaben:

  • Du erfasst relevante Informationen, bewertest komplexe Situationen und setzt gemeinsam mit einem erfahrenen Team geeignete Lösungen um

  • Du stellst die Zuverlässigkeit und Verfügbarkeit der Anlagen sicher und führst sowohl präventive Wartungsmaßnahmen als auch Korrekturmaßnahmen durch

  • Du organisierst und koordinierst Ressourcen, sodass Equipment und Materialien jederzeit verfügbar sind

  • Du dokumentierst und berichtest technische Maßnahmen, um die Wirksamkeit sicherzustellen und eine Kultur der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung zu fördern

  • Du arbeitest eng mit verschiedenen Kolleg:innen zusammen und entwickelst deine Fähigkeiten und dein Fachwissen kontinuierlich weiter


Deine Qualifikation

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium im Ingenieurbereich (z. B. Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik oder Mechatronik) oder eine vergleichbare technische Qualifikation bzw. entsprechende Berufserfahrung

  • Idealerweise 2–5 Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung

  • Erfahrung im technischen Kundensupport

  • Ausgeprägte praktische Fähigkeiten in der Fehleranalyse und Problemlösung (Troubleshooting)
