As an ORSA and defense mission expert, you’ll bring your planning and analysis expertise to inform a command on progress towards campaign objectives and the feasibility, suitability, and acceptability of specified plans. Through thorough research and met hodologically sound analysis, you’ll use your skills to develop and apply met hods such as wargaming, modeling and simulation, campaign analysis, mission engineering, and other suitable met hods to assess the risk and return on investment asso cia ted with operations, activities, and investments ( OAIs ) .

What You’ll Work On:

• Work with us to develop and apply met hods to evaluate the effectiveness of the portfolio of OAIs at the operation or campaign level.
• Analyze the actual and predictable interacting operational activities of a military, governmental, or business system to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision-making or resource allocation.
• Provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.
• Design, develop, implement, and lead multiple analysis efforts across multiple teams and staff directorates.
• Identify, design, and execute multi-disciplinary approaches, including mathematical, research, technical, and visualization approaches, and translate them into cohesive analysis results.
• Verify and validate data, models, and analysis results, serve as the primary interface between a multi-disciplinary research and analysis team and government client, serve as a theater-wide environmental analysis expert, and integrate contextual understanding of the operational environment into analysis findings and reports.
• Author highly distilled and high-fidelity reports that inform command decision processes, implement computerized visualization sof tware to articulate analysis results, design multi-criteria decision analysis ( MCDA ) processes, and coach subordinate staff to execute these processes.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with ORSA
• Experience with the design, development, and visualization of mathematical, statistical, and econo met ric met hods and techniques
• Experience with wargaming, campaign analysis, or mission engineering
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• 7+ years of experience with the design, development, and visualization of mathematical, statistical, econo met ric, and other scientific met hods and techniques
• Experience in the military, including spe cia l operations or joint operations
• Experience with spe cia l technical operations, spe cia l operations sensitive activities, and other spe cia lized capabilities
• Experience with a military operations research center such as the Center for Army Analysis, RAND, OPNAV N81, or similar
• Experience leading the implementation of wargames, campaign analyses, or mission engineering within the Department of War
• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field preferred ; Doctorate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field a plus

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
